WVU-P Learn & Earn Program
This presentation will focus on how WVU-P Learn & Earn program where students gain work experience while completing their degree through a state-funded grant. The program is sponsored by the West Virginia Community and Technical College System as part of the Workforce Development Initiative Program. It is an opportunity to create partnerships between business, industry and WVU Parkersburg by allowing interns to receive hands-on learning experience and employers to train future.
PRESENTED BY
Michele Wilson, serves as Secretary for the Polymer Alliance Zone Executive Board. She serves on the WVUP President’s Cabinet, Academic Affairs Council, and numerous other committees throughout the college.
Michele builds partnerships and promotes workforce initiatives.
Michele has an AS, BS and BAS in Business Administration, management/marketing concentration, through WVUP.
This Program has been submitted to SHRM and the HR Certification Institute for Review. Professional Development Credits are Pending.
